Water park in Lanhélin

Zoo and Chateau de la Bourbansais in Plegueuneuc
About 10 minutes from our gite is the château La Bourbansais, built in the 1580s. Most of the interior furnishings date from the 18th century, including the fine collection of porcelain and tapestries.
Its extensive gardens contain a zoo, a playground for children, and a picnic area.
You will be impressed by the pack of hunting hounds performing a popular 20-minute show and by the free-flight shows of birds of prey, storks and vultures.
Aquarium in St Malo 
The Grand Aquarium in St Malo will make you go around the world of all oceans and of their species, from cold waters to tropical ones, from the North Pacific to the South Australia. Emotions and memories guarantied!
Outdoor heated swimming pool in Léhon
Léhon swimming pool is 10 minutes from the gîte. It is open all year round, has a slide, 2 paddling pools and picnic area.
It is open all day long in the summer.
Boat trips
Different boat trips are available from Dinan port or St Malo.
From Dinan port, the beautiful Jaman IV offers boat trips on the river Rance all the way to Léhon and back where you will see St Magloire Abbey and the ruins. You will go through a lock and find out the duties of a lock-keeper. This guided tour will take about 1 hour.
As the seats are in a covered area, you can enjoy a tour on a hot or rainy day!
From St Malo or Dinard, boat trips will take you along the Emerald coast, Cancale bay, or to the islands of Chausey and Cezembre.
Farming museum near Dol
“Le Musée de la Paysannerie” has been collecting tools, machinery and cloths used between 1850 and 1950. You will learn everything to do with farming and life in the countryside.
6 huge outbuildings have been converted into a museum. They also have, of course, farm animals (chickens, cockerels, peacocks, cows, donkeys, rabbits, etc).
Bicycle-Rail at Médréac
You can cycle along a section of the old ‘Brohinière-Dinan-Dinard’ railway line. Two courses are offered, one of 10 km and the other of 14 km. A motorized coach is also available for rental.
Trégomeur Zoo
About 1h20min from our gite, Trégomeur Zoo is well worth a visit. Most animals come from Asia and Madagascar. Children will learn whilst having fun thanks to their educational signs throughout the zoo.
Dinan Railway Museum
The Musée du Rail (railway museum) is situated in the left wing of the station. On show are 1:87 and 1:43 scale models of train networks, a reconstruction of the 1889 Vignier signal box, a video and shop. It is a veritable paradise for young and not so young.
Le Vélorail à Médréac (15 min)
Balades ludiques, sportives et familiales en binôme sur des équipages vélo-rail.
Deux parcours sont proposés, un de 10 km et l’autre de 14 km. Une activité originale qui plait beaucoup aux enfants.
