If you prefer to drive your own transport, then there are various ferry operators crossing from: Jersey, Weymouth, Plymouth, Poole and Portsmouth, arriving at one of the following harbours: Caen, Cherbourg, Saint-Malo and Roscoff. Check with your ferry company for details.
You can also fly/drive from London-Stansted or East Midlands to Dinard airport with Ryanair. Flights are also available with Flybe from Dublin, Southampton, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh to Rennes.
